Hi

I have just tested HP 3PAR virtual copy function and it is working very well. I have 3.1.3 operating system installed on 3PAR and have created snapshots. But these snapshots keep growing and older ones are not getting deleted.

I would like to keep snapshots for 5 days and after that they should automatically be deleted. This is how i have it set up at NetApp but couldnt find function do it in HP 3PAR. I put retention period of 4 days but they just keep growing and older snapshots are not deleted

Expiration, not retention. Retention says you can NOT delete it for 4 days, expiration tells the array to delete it after 4 days. Be careful with retention sas the array will not let you delete it until the retention period is elapsed.
