Hi
in other Storage Devices such as EMC unity 480, 680, 880 we are two M.2 drives. one of them is for boot image and another is for cache and when hardware failure or power failure occurred all cache data on DRAM store on M.2 drive. so there are one M.2 in 630 and two m.2 in 650 and 670.
what is the goal of M.2 drive? are these same in Unity devices or not?
Primera M.2 on Controller

The same, except in Primera the one is big enough to do both.
630 it is a single drive. 650/670 there is two drives in RAID1 for redundancy.
