Re: 3par 7400 degraded and failed on the same disk
PD100 was removed from the system without servicemag running correct.
what does showpd -s say?
PD97 could both be a replacement drive or a failed drive in the same slot.

Re: 3par 7400 degraded and failed on the same disk
showpd -s says
Id CagePos Type -State-- ---------------------------Detailed_State--------------------------- -SedState-
97 4:5:0 NL degraded notready,prolonged_missing_A_port,prolonged_missing_B_port,servicing unknown
100 4:5:0? NL failed vacated,missing,invalid_media,no_valid_ports,servicing unknown
is it ok now to just take out this disk and replace it with the new one?

it should be, but you have some cleanup to do.
