I'm after a bit of advise on P111. My Service Processor is listing P111 as a critical patch required for the 8450 array I have. I plan to upgrade to 3.3.1 MU5 over the coming days but believe I need to first apply the MU2 patches that the SP has identified.
Reading through the release notes for this particular patch it infers that going to 3.3.1 MU5 is preferred instead of installing this patch. Do I just leave this patch and proceed with the other MU2 patches listed by the SP? As I will be upgrading to 3.3.1 MU in a day or two.

The HPE SPOCK site has a doc called 3par_upgrade_recommend.pdf, the current version lists the following mandatory pre upgrade patches;
P32, P34, P40, P45, P51, P76, P90, P113 & P127.
I think as long as you have those you should be okay, add the latest update tools U042 just to be sure.
P111 is listed as optional for upgrades.
May need some SP updates too, not sure what versions best but probably 5.0.7 at least and then get up to the current 5.0.9.2 once on MU5.
