Task Failed - type "background_command", name "tuneld"

Post by Aleksein »

Hello friends.

I founded two minor alerts on my system:

Id : 106
State : New
Message Code: 0x00e000a
Time : 2021-06-10 12:52:27 IDT
Severity : Minor
Type : Task failed
Message : Task 19803 (type "background_command", name "tuneld") has failed (Task
Failed). Please see task status for details.

Id : 107
State : New
Message Code: 0x00e000a
Time : 2021-06-11 14:59:17 IDT
Severity : Minor
Type : Task failed
Message : Task 20599 (type "background_command", name "tuneld") has failed (Task
Failed). Please see task status for details.

Maybe someone knows what that it means? The alerts came after adding a new drive cage.

Thanks!

New cage (or drives to be accurate) triggered tunesys. Some of those subtasks have failed for some reason. Usually nothing to worry about as one LD is usually 256MB and having that amount of data unbalanced would quickly fix itself as you put more data on the system.

Great, thanks for the answer. :)
So, I can wait until the alerts will go away?

The tasks have failed, so the alerts will not go away.

Set them as acknowledged or fixed.
