Using/Mixing SED and non-SED drives in 8450

Post by feldsam »

Hello guys, do you have any experience with using FIPS capable SSD drives in a system with no encryption license and existing non-SED drives?

We have actually 48x480GB SSD 12G and have an offer for 4 non-SED 1.92GB and 10 SED 1.92GB drives. I have a plan to add 6+6 to the additional cages and leave 2 as a spare. Will this work?
