Problem with 4.2.7 OS Update

Post by profp62 »

Hi

I have 4.2.6 OS. I should upgrade - The following packages are ready for install HPE Primera OS Update 4.2.7. Ok.

HPE Primera OS Update 4.2.7 system readiness checks failed with :

Update to PK-4.2.7.3 requires the HPE Primera OS Upgrade Tool to be at version 34, but the array only has version 33.
Please load the latest HPE Primera OS Upgrade Tool onto the system and retry.

When i try it :

Failed to extract from ISO file: The package OS-4.2.0.21-U034 is already installed

Now i'm confused. I cannot find anything about this behaviour.

Someone knows ?

Thanks

Please open a case to get specific guidance for your array. Curious to know if there was a patch skipped along the way, or what they find.

This is a really late reply, but the Upgrade Tool package name for Primera start wtih UT-. So if you tried to load an Upgrade Tool that starts with OS-, you'll get an error, since this is the Upgrade Tool for 3PAR and can't be used on Primera. Just wanted to respond in case this came up for anyone else.
