7450c and non-SSD disks possible?

Hi 3parluvas,
Does anyone here know, whether it is at all possible to use non-SSD disks in a 7450c system?
I realize the 7450c is sold and branded as an all-flash system. However, given that it does use M6710 expansion enclosures which support both SSDs and spinning disk HDDs, I am hoping that non-SSD disks might actually be able to be used.
HP's 3PAR StoreServ Architecture Technical white paper says that only SSDs can be used in a 7450c, and that non-SSD disks in a connected M6710 enclosure is unsupported. But not supported isn't the same as not possible.
I picked up a 2nd hand 3par 7450c + M6710 system for a bargain, but with no disks,
So, my question for you knowledgeable folks is, is it possible?
Thanks.
