SSMC not connecting via browser

Post by fiazshah »

I use to be able to the SSMC gui via browser but recently I am not able to connect to or open the SSMC in the browser, I am still able to ssh to the arrays, any ideas?

My guess is that you have an issue with SSMC :)

Do the usual troubleshooting. Ping, reboot, redeploy.

is SSMC a physical server? how would I connect or reboot it? I thought it was a browser based interface that manages the arrays?

It's an application up to v3.3 and a virtual appliance from v3.4

No web-based management on the 3PAR itself.

It's installed separately in your environment. If you lost it, you can download and redeploy a new one easily enough.

Primera has a WebGUI that provides some provisioning functionality, but SSMC is still the primary GUI that can manage multiple 3PAR and Primera systems in one tool.
