Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can explain the following system tasks that I have noticed running on both of our V400's
remove_expired_vvs
check_slow_disk
They both appear to run every hour, and we haven't noticed them running before so are wondering if these are regular system tasks or whether they are running as a consequence of anything we have done recently
We have migrated about 6 VV per V400 between a NL CPG and a FC CPG so were wondering if this is anything to do with that?
I've searched this forum and various others but can't seem to find any conclusive answer at the moment!

Re: System Tasks
They are system tasks and i see them running on my systems all the time.
remove_expired_vvs = Removed volumes that has expired , you can set a expire date on volumes or snapshots and they will be removed with this task.
And i think that the Check_slow_disk = Will check the IOPS on each drive and report back if they are not performing as they should. ( Might also have something to do with where the system will create chunklets to balance the system as it grows )
