Just had our V400 rolled in the new Datacenter. We are migrating off the EVA on another site to the 3PAR. Our HP SE has advised that we should use the MPX 200 on an extended fabric across the 2 sites to do the data migration. Has anyone been in this path before? I had one guy telling me that they didn't pursue this due to the latency that the MPX brings in to the table and instead brought both arrays on the same site to do the initial 'seed'. Any suggestions or past experiences that anyone can share would be much appreciated.
We have a mixture of VMs and a few physicals running DBs.
