I attempted to use the IMC to configure AD authentication but could not get past the Accounts DN field as we have OUs with a space in them. On command line you can escape the space with a "\ " to get this done.
We have what I think is a standard Windows AD setup, however I am not AD savvy. I am curious what all these other settings and options are for and when to use them. Currently I am able to authenticate with MS Windows AD servers using SASL binding with GSSAPI.
Where and When would I use "Simple" instead of SASL? What is the difference to the 3PAR?
With SASL, when and where would I use PLAIN or DIGEST-MD5 instead of GSSAPI?
