I would recommend using a custom non-default password. Just call support and get a level 2 3PAR guy on the phone, give them the new password, they can dial into the SP and update the password so SPOCC can reconnect, as well as work with you to make sure there are no other "gotchas".
I bet you can log into SPOCC and update to the new PW your self if you are adventurous, however, I recommend the support option.
