Password file creation error

I am creating a password file to script tune vv
When I tried the command
cli% setpassword -saveonly -file C:\filename.pwfile -u <username>

I am getting the below error

-saveonly not available under SSH or telnet access

I am running the version
cli% showversion
Release version 3.1.2 (MU4)
Patches: None
Component Name Version
CLI Server 3.1.2 (MU4)
CLI Client 3.1.2 (MU4)
System Manager 3.1.2 (MU4)
Kernel 3.1.2 (MU4)
TPD Kernel Code 3.1.2 (MU4)


Any clue??

Download the HP/3par InformOS CLI and run the same command. Should work.

Yes you will need to install the CLI for windows and run the command from windows.

Don't forget to run the 3PAR CLI with administrator rights.
I'm not sure you can provide drive and folder to save the password file.
Usually it is saved in 3PAR CLI bin folder.
