Partitioned drives for T800
I recently aquired 2TB drives for a T800 and it turns ou that some of them have been partitoned to 1TP and 750GB is there a way to repartition them back to 2TB?

I wonder if these were t2TB drives that were used to swap out a failed 1TB or 750Gb drive, so it was rigged to look/act like the proper drive size...
How are you able to see the partitions now?
I wonder if the drive hardware has a jumper on it that tells it physically emulate a previously discontinued drive size for warranty replacement purposes and compatability...

It's a bit setting in the firmware from HP. You will need to contact HP.
We have some T-series with 1TB drives in them. During the Tsunami deal a few years ago, HP didn't have the 1TB on hand, so they upgraded a patch on our inservs and sent us 2TB hard drives that appear as 1TB hard drives. Nothing we can do to those since they have the HP firmware on them.
