Has anyone had success using the 3PAR Recovery Manager software to create scheduled virtual copies? We're running vCenter 5.5 on Windows Server 2012, and I got to the point that I can schedule the job, but the task fails on every run with the error "Incorrect function."
I know it has to do with the credential store file that you have to create because the task works if I take out the store file switch and instead type in the password in plain text. But ideally I don't want to have to store the password in plain text in order for this to work.
Any thoughts?
I'm really hoping there is a big improvement in the 3PAR RM software with 3.1.3...
Forgot to mention, this is with Recovery Manager 2.4.0

Hello Steve,
Does your 3PAR use AD authentication? If so, you may run into issues where scheduled tasks on the 3PAR must be scheduled with a 3PAR local account.... I had a different issue where scheduled jobs with an AD account can't authenticate when the scheduler runs them.
