RCFC NetworkInterfaces Missing After Node Replacement

Post by Bandit »

Hi all,

We have had a node fail in our 8200. It was completely dead with no lights. We have had this replaced at the new node seems to have the 2 ports configured for RCFC missing. The node is part of the cluster and is passing traffic (other than RCFC).

When you run showport they are completely missing.

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts please? How can we get the system to see these ports again?

Thank You

I would do "showport" in CLI and if they are there....

Not sure who replaced the node and where it came from, but if you're missing 2 ports it could be the onboard FC HBA that's dead.

Did the old node have an additional IO Card installed that should have been moved to the new node?
