3par 7400 degraded and failed on the same disk

3par 7400 degraded and failed on the same disk

Hi, i have a disk with status degraded and failed.
already did servicemag, the status is success.
so can i just take out this disk and replace it with the new one?

showpd -i display different wwn for each IDs on 4:5

PD100 was removed from the system without servicemag running correct.

what does showpd -s say?

PD97 could both be a replacement drive or a failed drive in the same slot.

showpd -s says

Id CagePos Type -State-- ---------------------------Detailed_State--------------------------- -SedState-
97 4:5:0 NL degraded notready,prolonged_missing_A_port,prolonged_missing_B_port,servicing unknown
100 4:5:0? NL failed vacated,missing,invalid_media,no_valid_ports,servicing unknown

is it ok now to just take out this disk and replace it with the new one?

it should be, but you have some cleanup to do.
