CLI Server error: Error reading user (3paradm)attributes

Post by João Muanda »

Hello all,

I no longer have access to the management console, after replaced a node with a problem for another one and after having done a rescrue node. no changes were made to the user: 3paradm or the password: 3pardata. simply stopped working giving this error "CLI Server error: Error reading user (3paradm) attributes" I can ping the IP without a problem. HP 3PAR 7200 - 3.1.2.484

Does anyone have an idea what it might be?

3.1.2?!?!?!

I could take a guess that the new node maybe required newer OS or something like that.

You do know that 3.1.2 was the release code for 7000 series and that 3.1.3 was already released in 2013.. so 8 year old code with 8 year old bugs.

If it states serial is correct. I sounds like the new node wasn't a "clean" spare part but a node pulled from another system which contained a system serial etc. What happens if you pull the replaced node?

Also, you need to match SP with 3PAR OS ... so for 3.1.2 .. that was .. 2.5.... something?! ... or was that 4.1?

3.2.2 -> SP 4.4
3.2.1 -> SP 4.3
3.1.3 -> SP 4.2
3.1.2 -> SP 4.1(?)
