Good morning all.

I recently added another 24 NL drives to my system and was wondering if you have to tunevv (tune back to the same CPG) any volumes on the NL storage to have them take advantage of the additional spindles for performance. I.e. spread the data over the new drives as well.

My apologies if its a daft question but I wasnt really sure.

Use tunesys.

That's the sledge hammer of all sledge hammers when it comes to rebalance.

If you only have one NL cpg you can limit to that, but my guess is that if it does any movement on FC/SSD it was useful.
