Hi,
I will migrate a microsoft sql server 2008 cluster (on windows 2008 r2 server) from a emc symmetrix to a 3par
I have read in previous posts that this can be done using emc open migrator and with little downtime, only for restarting the servers.
Am I right?
Thank you for your help

You will need to check on EMC powerlink website for the latest version of open migrator to see if it supports Windows 2008 clusters. It's been over 3 years since I have used these products, so I can't speak to current versions.
When we needed to migrate very large Windows 2003 clusters with minimal downtime, this was the best stuff I could find because it was temporary. You use it, migrate, uninstall it. Alternatively, Veritas volume manager (Symantec storage foundations) will do a good job too, but its a permanent install... once you use dynamic disks in your cluster, you will always need this product.
