Hi,
I am installing my first StoreServ7000 which is not going well at all.
I do not have a DHCP server on my network and so I have ad to use the manual process. I have been able to connect to the StoreServe controller and the OOB option manually. I have set the IP Address etc but am still unable to ping the controller. How can I confirm that the IP Address has been set correctly.

Why do you have to do this yourself? We had to fill in loads of forms with all this information. 3Par then made a configuration file wich a 3Par engineer then loaded into the system on site.

Supposedly customer installable...
In fairness after i got the network issues sorted it was pretty straightforward.
The Smart Start simplifies things but you need to have all the prereqs in place.
