I've been fighting for a while to send smtp from system reporter to our exchange. From the server that has system reporter i can telnet to our exchange on port 25 and i can send smtp to my account and that works fine. So I know the firewall shouldn't be an issue. I've been checking the sampleloop file - and i've sent an alert to a low level so i should see emails.
If it helps i've attached some of my sampleloop file to see if someone can help me, please note i've changed the IP address of the 3pars to WORK_3PAR1_IP and my email address isn't
myemail@work.com.
I've also included below the sampleloop the settings from my sampleloop_config below just incase i've done something wrong.
