7400 / 4 Node add 8 Shelfs on simplest way

Hello

what is the simplest way to add 8 shelfs to a 7400 / 4 Node with 6 Shelfs.

I think shutdown the Storage, add the Shelfs to the storage (guide=> 3PAR cabling guide).
start the storage, admithw, tunesys.

dont forget to add the new hdd to your cpq's if the new disk are the same type.

Yes. the ninja sizer is very helpful with ha configs

You can do it without stopping the array.
Don't forget cages are connected to nodes with two loops.

(6+8) / 2 = 7 cages per nodes cluster.
So you are planning to have CPGs with ha cage and raid 5 6+1 ?
Right now you got ha cage with raid 5 2+1 CPGs ?
