battery expiration date

Is there any difference, in your 3Par systems, between the expiration date printed on the batteries and the one reported by showbattery command?
On my 3Par 10400, printed date was 6 months later than the one reported by showbattery command. Is that normal?

I have seen this before out in the field.

Your system will started sending alerts 59days before expire date that the battery needs to be
replaced. It will that the date reported by showbattery into account for this.

Please contact HP 3PAR support, they will be able to set the expire date according to what is
listed on the battery.
