Since upgrading to 4.5.1.13 my team have had more issues of hung sessions or having to manually refresh the console to get it to update. We run 5 arrays on our local network (2 T800, 2 V800s and 1 F400)
Although we were getting the odd issues with the earlier versions, for us the experience is worse
Before we log a call with HP, have any other admins had issues with 4.5.1.13?

I tend to just disable auto-refresh because of this issue, we have three arrays, last time a talked to someone regarding IMC quirkiness they hinted that it didn't scale well for multiple arrays. I've not tried testing this issue with only a single array connected yet.

I have been working with support and the IMC team for months. The IMC has some serious issues where over time you get java pointer exceptions. you look in the bottom right corner and see a Red circle with exclamation mark, click that and you will see the console crashes. They gave me a private build 6 weeks ago that is very stable, BUT is slow as a dog. I also tend to disable auto-refresh as it bogs down the IMC. It is not unusual for us to see the IMC java using 800MB-1GB of RAM. Clearly a very poorly written app implementation of java. I encourage people to open cases on the IMC so they hear the issues.

Same error? Can you please pm me your case # so I can skip doing pointless troubleshooting with support.

So much for a single management console for all arrays!

My case # for the IMC opened since March is 4647386019

Maybe they will give you the private build, note that the private build is still 4.5.0 and while it does not crash it is very slow and bogs down at times. The IMC does not scale well at all. I am finding 3par is still suffering trying to catch up with its new found growth. 3par support is still awful, probably one of the worst organization I have had to deal with in recent years.

Hope they fill send a fix soon...

I'ved open a case in feb regarding the java error, it's been gone in the clouds :-)
Maybe I should re-open one...

I am on 4.5.0.36 and have the same issues with missing data, state in "?" etc..

I was hoping an upgrade would fix it...
