Is there also an option on this Forum to chat with active members.
Hi Guys, AFAIK - ESX v 5.1 is not doing any auto zero fill on thin volumes. While in one of the array it has been observed that a volume (Thin-2TB) reached above 90% and vmware team were asked to run "vmkfstools" command. While they didn't do anything on the vmware side and seen that space of volume on 3PAR is reduced less than 80% automatically. How this happened I am surprised? any clue?
