Whenever someone launches the 3PAR management console we get the following error. " Customer notification from HP SP0001615130 Realtime Alert Process Notification id: P3037 Notify time: 2014/02/04 11:17:04.00 (User, -0600 CST) Installed machine: 3PAR INSERV 1615130 Site: 1, Customer Event urgency: alert Event count: 1 Event location: Site Event time: 2014/02/04 11:17:04.00 (-0600 CST) Event description: 3PAR INSERV CLI server process event Abstract: SUPPRESSED:CLI SRV_PROC Max allowable tpdtcl processes of 96 exceeded, no proces Text: Event id: 5556108 Node 0 Cust Alert - Yes, Svc Alert - No Severity: Major Event time: Tue Feb 4 11:17:04 2014 Event type: CLI server process event Msg ID: 150002 Component: CLI Short Dsc: Max allowable tpdtcl processes of 96 exceeded, no process creat Event String: Max allowable tpdtcl processes of 96 exceeded, no process created for connection from client address " Any ideas? When I log into the CLI I only have like four processes running. Running InServ version 3.1.2.278 and Service Process SP-4.1.0.GA-60.001. Thanks |

Have you checked the user connections at the CLI ? "showuserconn" You should be able to identify where the connections are coming from and clear them down with "removeuserconn" If there are lots coming from the SP then I'd log a call. |

Do you only have 1 disk shelf? If so, I learned today that is a known issue. I met someone today that has same/similar issue, and in the interim while waiting for patch, they call HP, and support remotes in and temporarily fixes the issue. |
