HPE Storage Users Group

Does anyone have a good method of documenting a configuration? I don't have System Reporter and was wondering if there's an easy way to document a build. With Lefthand I run a batch file of CLI commands that pull all the info (about hosts, volumes, cluster/managment group, etc), but haven't put in the time and effort yet building a batch file for 3par. Just asking before I go down a road i don't need to go down.

Humm do not know of a way other than running commands from CLI, your basic

showvv
showhost
showinventory
showsys

Not sure what information it will give you, but you can run Retrieve Application Core files from the service processor. it is under Inserv product maintanance.
I have not tried this, so I dont know what it will do.
