Should just be able to do a compact on the CPG that is configured as your snapshot destination, using the trim only option is quick and might get some of it back. Doing a full compact will move data around to 'defrag' it so as to get it all back but puts load on disk so better done in quiet periods.

CPG Compact will indeed reclaimed removed space but make sure the snapshot space has been removed and not just unexported.

Also, the compact cpg will not compete with the normal production load, priority will always be given to the prod IO and normal processing tasks.
