Node assembly is in the wrong slot!

Post by sebastian7780_2 »

Hello everyone.
I have a problem with a 3PAR 8400 2 nodes.
node 0 failed.
I bought the same part used on Ebay.

I did the rescue process which is connecting to the new node via serial connection.

Whack>unset sys_serial_10
Whack>unset w19
Whack>ahci init
Whack>ahci erase
Whack>reset

It reboots the controller and when it starts it does not join the cluster.
This is how it ends...

Node assembly is in the wrong slot!

*** Fatal error: Code 25, sub-code 0x6 (0).
AHCI0 MBR does not have a valid partition table
Disabled FSBC boot watchdog.

I also did noderescue -node 0 from node 1 but without success.
Note: I am making it start without the 4-port HBA because it appears to be faulty.

any ideas?
Thank you very much as always.
