Good day
The following thing happened to us. One node was defective, and while I got a new one, the second node restarted and remained in default.

I started SP but I can't find SN anywhere. The only place I can get to is the console. But I can't initialize the HP 3par data.

Can you advise me how to do it? how to proceed ? We no longer have prepaid HP support.

How to check data 3par? or we can throw it away.
We have Service Processors in version 5.1.0.
Try to advise us on what needs to be done? I am also attaching the file that lists 3par.

well thank you

Michal

Good day
Thanks for SN :)
But somehow it doesn't work for me

it gives me the following error

Unable to detect StoreServ with Serial Number CZ2401029Y. Resolution: 1) When using a Physical SP or VSP, verify that the SP and StoreServ are on the same subnet. 2) Verify the StoreServ LEDs as documented in the Self-Install Guide.

1) I directly connected the network interface between the server and 3par but again the same error.
- Everything is on the same subnet, but I don't know what IP 3par has, I can't enter it anywhere

PS: why doesn't one part work, it's damaged after plugging it into 3par, it keeps restarting. I got a new part, it will arrive in 3 weeks.

I am sending a photo of the damaged part.

We have 3par connected to the MGMT port directly to the server where the service process is running,
And I have a serial interface connected to the MGF port

Thank you

Good day
I can't set the IP in any way
It always gives me the following error

3PAR Console Menu 1621379-1 3.2.2.709

1. Out Of The Box Procedure
2. Re-enter network configuration
3. Update the CBIOS
4. Enable or disable CLI error injections
5. Perform a Node-to-Node rescue
6. Set up the system to wipe and rerun ootb
7. Cancel a wipe
8. Perform a deinstallation
9. Update the system for recently added hardware (admithw)
10. Check system health (checkhealth)
11. Finish SP-to-Node rescue procedure
12. Exit
> 2
This option will overwrite the configuration for all ethernet interfaces in the
system, including those intended for support of remote copy. As a result, it
may cause existing CLI or GUI connections to be lost, and may cause remote copy
links to go down. To abort this process, press Ctrl-C now.

The PR must be running on the admin volume to change the config.

Login is console/cmp43pd

I also tried to create a DHCP server, but it does not get any IP even after restarting.

Pretty sure you're not able to do "out of the box" on a system with a missing node.... So when you did 8 (de-installation) you basically put the system out of commision until the failed node is repaired.... Which will be a bigger job, when you have no system to do node rescue (unless moving the node drive)

Good day
But we always had only one 3 par. It worked until the system restarted, I didn't do anything, I just connected the console and looked for SN to connect. But even if you found SN, I still couldn't initialize it.

Is it possible to somehow get it to the default state? Even if I lose data, I have backups, so I'll retrieve it somehow, but I would need to revive it somehow, even if one module fails.

well thank you

deinstall node drives complete. Drives not erased.
Wiping system...
Waiting for disk inquiries to finish, maximum 5 minutes remaining.
At this point, all chunklets in the system will be initialized to clear volume
data.  This is estimated to take about 0 minutes.

Wait for all chunklets to be initialized? (y/n)

The system is going down for system halt NOW!

This is where you made the mistake.... because here you clearly did a deinstall of the system.... At this point in time, the system was probably up and running.

Code:
3PAR Console Menu 1621379-1 3.2.2.709

1. Out Of The Box Procedure
2. Re-enter network configuration
3. Update the CBIOS

WARNING!!!

Doing this will cause the system to shut down, and is the first step of
several processes that lead to the loss of ALL data on the system.

Are you sure you want to proceed?

This was also probably bad ...

Not sure what was done in what order ... but these two things but the system back into a configuration similar to how you get it from the factory. And I'm pretty sure you can't initialized a system that isn't "complete"/healthy ... which is now the problem you're facing.

Good day

I am aware that the system is broken and not fixed correctly.
I deleted all the data that was there and let's say that we have backups, we will restore it somehow.

My goal now is to somehow initialize the system so that I can revive it again

Can you advise what I should do?

I have this menu in front of me, how should I proceed? so that I don't do something wrong and somehow connect the system to the service processor?

Code:
3PAR Console Menu 1621379-1 3.2.2.709

1. Out Of The Box Procedure
2. Re-enter network configuration
3. Update the CBIOS
4. Enable or disable CLI error injections

6. Set up the system to wipe and rerun ootb
7. Cancel a wipe
8. Perform a deinstallation
9. Update the system for recently added hardware (admithw)
10. Check system health (checkhealth)
11. Finish SP-to-Node rescue procedure
12. Exit

Try to advise how to do it
Thank you

Step 1. Do you have a healthy system with 2 or 4 working controller nodes?

We currently have only one HP 3par connected, which already has 2 functional controls. Nothing else is connected there. The number 00 is lit on the front
