Does anyone know of a way to have 3PAR shutdown if it gets to a certain tempature?

The AC in my server room is having issues and we have no way to currently know if the AC has failed again so we wanted to see if the 3PAR would/could auto shutdown due to high temps.

Do the client nodes do the same? Would be good to have all active IO stop first before a 3par would shut down..

Do you have the 3PAR (and servers) set to alert you via email/text message when events, like high temps, occur?

It's not what you asked, but the alert would allow you remote in an manually shut things down when a failure occurs. I've been in your situation before, and when our AC failed, we would shut down dev/test/qa and non-mission-critical systems so that production could stay up.
