Hi, I am installing my first StoreServ7000 which is not going well at all. I do not have a DHCP server on my network and so I have ad to use the manual process. I have been able to connect to the StoreServe controller and the OOB option manually. I have set the IP Address etc but am still unable to ping the controller. How can I confirm that the IP Address has been set correctly. Many thanks for you time in reading this... C |

Why do you have to do this yourself? We had to fill in loads of forms with all this information. 3Par then made a configuration file wich a 3Par engineer then loaded into the system on site. |

These are the new HP 3par storeserv 7000 arrays Supposedly customer installable... In fairness after i got the network issues sorted it was pretty straightforward. The Smart Start simplifies things but you need to have all the prereqs in place. |
