Post subject:  Delete Virtual Volume from an RCG

Hi
This is
I have two 8450's running 3.3.1 MU3 with several virtual volumes inside a single RCG. This has synched all ok using RCIP asynch periodic. On the destination 3PAR I have the <vv name>.r volume.
When I delete one of the virtual volumes from the RCG should I expect the 3PAR to automatically remove the <vv name>.r volume on the target array?
I'm seeing that it doesn't do this - which I guess is fine as I can delete it manually - but I just wanted to ask if it's expected to have to manually delete the replica on the target when a VV is deleted from an RCG.

kind regards
Keir

The replicate VV stays.
Because you might need it.
Be sure to unexport the replica before u remove from RC.
The VV can stay, delete or attach and resync later.
