After changing failed disk, now it has ID 47 (bafore had ID 17) is there some way to change its ID back to 17? |

This is by design, the old ID needs to exist while the new disk is being rebuilt and you can't have two disks with the same ID. If you fail that disk and replace it you might get the previous ID on the next replacement, depending on what other IDs are available. The actual data layout effectively follows the Mag location and not the ID, IDs are just used to track physical media going in and out of the array. |
