Do the batteries in newer 3PARs not have expiration dates ?
Show battery on the arrays here says "n/a" for expiration date.
All batteries expire eventually.
Our newest (9000 series) arrays show the expiry date but our 8000 series ones don't display it.
Our previous F, T and V/10000 models all had them though.
Looking at the service guide for the 8000 the battery is within the PSU so you have to remove the PSU to see/replace the battery. I'm guessing it's just failing them based on current levels rather then the preemptive expiry that's also used in the bigger arrays.
