 Post subject: Does RCIP port listen to all clients, or just targets?

I'm troubleshooting my 3par replication setup, and I can ping nodes from other nodes without issue.

My theory is that port 5785 is being blocked, since checkrclink is reporting unable to connect to server.

My question is whether I should be able to use telnet or netcat to connect to port 5785 on an RCIP interface. Does an RCIP port only accept traffic from configured targets, or should "nc -v <ip address> 5785" work from any machine on the network?
