Hi all, I would appreciate any input

We have 2 linux hosts (clustered) connected to MSA directly. CentOS 6.10

We need to connect our new 3PAR (8200 - 3.2.2MU6) at the same time so DBAs can migrate from MSA to 3PAR

3PAR direct connection has been made sucesfully. Hosts have 1 hba card on each so we removed one connection from MSA and connected to 3PAR. Connections are ok on 3par side. Hosts on 3par see paths.

I exported volumes to the host set. Our syseng guy added new luns to the multipath.conf but newly exported luns from 3par is not to be detected on the hosts.

Any tips or tricks you could shed light?

Not looked at a Linux host in years but have you worked through the 3PAR guide for Linux?

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-c04448818&withFrame

Most host stuff comes down to host persona, multipath config, drivers and a few config things.
