Hi Guys,

I'm getting an alert "Node 1, Data Cache DIMM 0.1.0 is failing. Correctable ECC limit exceeded.
My problem is our support from HPE was expired. Does anybody know how to check if the error still exist and how to resolve. The Alert showed last April 20, 2019.

Infra:
HP 3PAR 7440C
OS Version: 3.2.2.612
SP Version: 4.4.0.GA-58 +P006

Thanks.
JunG

This error is simple if you read it.

A counter (number of bit errors corrected by ECC) has been reach which is usually an indication that the DIMMs is starting to have issues. ECC can fix single bit error on the DIMM, if you get a dual bit error (which is the next step) it might get really bad.
