Hi all, We have faced with very interesting issue. Fc -Combo adaper were inserted in 3PAr 8200. in SSMC, CLI we can see only FC ports available. But where are Ethernet ports? admithw -ni does not help in this case 3PAR conf: 8200+2 enclosures; 3.2.2.709 MU6 +P99,107,115,119,122,123,126,131; SSMC - 3.3.1; CLI - 3.2.2 Could you please let us know waht is the problem? Are combo cards supported in 3.2.2? I've seen a specific new feature in the release notes for 3.3.1 GA that says added support for combo cards on 8000 arrays but couldn't find any mention of combo in the latest 3.2.2 MU release notes.  EDIT: Just checked the QuickSpec docs for the 8000, "Combo adapters are supported on 3PAR OS 3.3.1 or later.", so yes looks like you need to update to 3.3.1MU2/3. |
