I am running a 3PAR 7400 that is out of warranty at my testlab.

I got this error: Node 0, Data Cache DIMM 0.1.0 is failing. Correctable ECC limit exceeded.

Since it is out of warranty and in a testlab I am willing to have more relaxed approach.

Do anyone have an idea of what kind of memory it uses? Maybe a 3.party memory stick would do it

If it's lab you always have the option of pulling it out and take a look.

I think I saw some info about this in a CLI command once... Maybe shownode with some options?

Since it is OOW and in LAB, try swapping DC DIMM in node.

My lab 7400 node have:
1x CC: 8GB 2Rx4 PC3L-10600R-9-11-NP HP PN:2660-0339, spare PN:683806-001
2xDC: 4GB 2Rx4 PC2-6400P-555-13-ZZ HP PN:2660-0329, spare PN:693804-001

I donĀ“t think node will accept non-HP DIMM.
