I am not seeing the performance benefit of ODX on a 2012 Hyper-V host (RDVH role) with CSVs. I am provisioning gold images from one CSV to another CSV on the SAME array but the file copy is taking a long time. I am seeing the traffic on the iSCSI ports on the 3par (via the IMC) and the iSCSI NICs on the host (via task manager). I would not expect to see any of this traffic as the file copy should be contained on the array. I opened a case with HP (and of course they are passing the buck to MS). I see all the filter drivers loaded and the ODX is showing as a supported feature. Does anyone have any other information as to what I can try? Thanks. |
