Hi All,
We are looking for a monitoring tool for below storage devices.
3PAR 7400 ( count 2)
MDS 9148 Cisco SAN Switch (count 4) and
NetApp filers ( count : 4)
We considered Solarwinds but it is not within our budget and thought of BPPM as well and they charge per port basis and it also comes to a big amount for licensing because if we consider Cisco switch itself , it is having 4x48 ports and that itself makes the annual cost very high.
Earlier we tried to use Zabbix tool since being an open source thinking that it can be made customized to monitor our Storage devices. But Zabbix doesnt have much to support Storage device monitoring.
So , here anyone can suggest a tool which can be used to monitor all these devices on a budget price. we would like to monitor hardware alerts and performance
