trying to figure out where these auth failures are originating. SSMC shows the owner as no user. i am the only admin, never setup ldap.

I have received errors like this in the past and it turned out to be using an account other than 3paradm to perform tasks like compactcpg or taking FilePersona snapshots. I have spoken to HPE about this the account I created has the super role, their recommendation would be to use the 3paradm account.

I would recommend looking at your scheduled tasks or anything else you have connecting to the array and changing the account to use 3paradm.

Have you had a support case opened? Would be good to have that done, so that it can be properly tracked and give a chance for HPE to triage this problem.

Bringing a very old thread back to live.

The rootcause/source of these authentication failures can be determiend by using the following CLI command:
Code:
showeventlog -startt "2023-05-11 13:00" -endt "2023-05-11 14:41"

A detailed article can be found on 3PAR & PRIMERA AUTHENTICATION FAILURES IN SSMC

Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Dardan
