 Post subject: Removing working Drives

I have to move working disks from 7200 to 7400, now 7200 has 14 10K and 10 920Gb SSD drives.
I did find the command to remove the working disk but my question is, these disks are from slot 0 to 13 and SSDs are in 14 to 23 slot.

So in this scenario, I will have first 14 slots empty, i am not planning to populate them right now. so i will only have 10 SSDs in last 10 slots. will it work ? thanks.
