Hi,
our topology is simple HPE ProLiant DL380p Gen8 server <---> HPE 5900 switch <---> 3Par 7200

3Par is showing 2ports as Loss Sync (see pic.) Is this something we should be worried?

SAS ports .. backend disk .. you have no disk shelves attached to them.

I believe it was ready before. So i should check connectivity inside 3Par to restore redundancy? Because why this port is then showing between other ports.

But the Photo from the Controller you postet with another Question in the HPE Forum shows no connected Cable & no Shelf.
You will not get other answers as in the HPE Forum.
markinnz is right.

I think DP-1 and DP-2 is just a description (label in manager), no? And wrong description, Because DP-2 is also not connected (see pic), but in manager it is ready.

If you believe it or not.
The DP-1 is going first to the Internal Drives (Cage 0).

Thanks,
I've read it, but in this document Enclosure and Controller nodes are two separate systems. In our case we have one 1U unit with two controller nodes and their DP-1 and DP-2 ports not connected. In documentation DP-1 is going to External drives.
In documentation the is no Cage0.

If I have no backend disks why it is showing in configuration? Because it was never connected to other disk shelves.

The Picture above Shows the Controller Node.

You have Cage 0, in the back of this first Cage are the Controller Nodes.
This Nodes are connected to the Cage 0 internal (inside the Cage 0) with DP-1.
All other Cages have no Controller, only an IO Module and need an external Cable to the Nodes.
Cage 0,2,4,... are connected with DP-1
Cage 1,3,5,... are connected with DP-2

At the end you have Cage 0 connected internal with DP1- to the Nodes in the Back.

Cali is providing you the correct information.

Node 0/1 = Cage 0. Cage 0 drives are internally(an internal SAS expander) connected via DP1
If you were to add one more cage, that would plug into DP2 on both Node controllers.
Then you should see DP-2 state Ready but you don't have a second cage.
A third cage would then connect into DP1 on both Node controllers.
