Hi all, I upgraded the Service Processor to v5 and the 3PAR to 3.3.1. I am trying to add the 3PAR to the Service Processor and get an error during the connect process: 3parsvc is not accessible com.tpd.inform.data.exception.TPDOperationException: Password must be at least 15 characters long. The account does exist on the 3PAR and the password is at least 15 characters. Any ideas? Thanks Kurt |

Usually HPe does all of that work for us, install and upgrades, so I have no personal experience with that. I do recall that our initial setup was done with 3PARADM not SVC. |

Change the admin password on the SP to 15, not on the 3PAR. Reboot SP. |

The accounts have changed and also as part of this process HPE upgrade team had to generate new passwords for SP and inserv connectivity. After this admin replaces 3parcust with same password and two new accounts hpepartner and hpesupport 3paradm is still vaild. |
